Hope's Haven has stoked a fire in me to share the Gospel of Jesus with the children we serve. I've been involved in Hope's Haven since 2016, volunteering in a variety of roles before stepping into the Executive Director position in 2021. I've been a member of the Board of Directors since 2019. When I'm not working, I'm often reading, making a great cup of coffee, or spending time with my wife and son.
I was recently introduced to Hope's Haven and encouraged by the vision to share the Gospel and care for children and families impacted by the trauma of being in foster care. 2024 is my first year serving on the board. I have worked in child welfare for 12 years, the last seven of which have been in a few capacities with the York County Office of Children, Youth, and Families. My wife Debbie and I reside in York, PA, with our three children. Recreationally, I enjoy racquetball, disc golf, and a good game of Scrabble.
I have felt the joy and laughter along with tears and complexity of being a foster and adoptive parent. As a family we have benefited from having our son participate in a life changing week of camp. Zac asked me to join the board of Hope's Haven in 2024 and I am happy to bring the perspective's of a foster and adoptive family to the leadership, mission and operations of Hope's Haven.
I started volunteering with Hope’s Haven as a young teen and fell in love with the mission to help kids discover or deepen their relationship with Jesus. I currently serve as a board member and as the Executive Directors’ wife. Outside of Hope’s Haven, I’m a full time mom and nanny. I love a good cup of coffee and baking sourdough bread.
