Hope's Haven has been a big part of my life for over ten years and I love being able to see these campers grow from year to year. Danielle and I currently serve as Activities Directors and board members. When I'm not building websites for my business or tackling our house renovation, I enjoy hiking, camping, creating, and listening to/making music.
Hope's Haven has stoked a fire in me to share the Gospel of Jesus with the children we serve. I've been involved in Hope's Haven since 2016, volunteering in a variety of roles before stepping into the Executive Director position in 2021. I've been a member of the Board of Directors since 2019. When I'm not working, I'm often reading, making a great cup of coffee, or spending time with my wife and son.
After hearing about the mission of Hope's Haven in 2008 and the children they minister to, I knew I wanted to be part of it. After being at camp and experiencing the impact Hope's Haven has on children and youth, I returned again... year after year. Volunteering at camp and serving on the Board of Directors is an opportunity to involved in all aspects of camp.
I started volunteering with Hope’s Haven as a young teen and fell in love with the mission to help kids discover or deepen their relationship with Jesus. I currently serve as a board member and as the Executive Directors’ wife. Outside of Hope’s Haven, I’m a full time mom and nanny. I love a good cup of coffee and baking sourdough bread.
I was recently introduced to Hope's Haven and encouraged by the vision to share the Gospel and care for children and families impacted by the trauma of being in foster care. 2024 is my first year serving on the board. I have worked in child welfare for 12 years, the last seven of which have been in a few capacities with the York County Office of Children, Youth, and Families. My wife Debbie and I reside in York, PA, with our three children. Recreationally, I enjoy racquetball, disc golf, and a good game of Scrabble.
