Hope’s Haven is excited to invite you to the FIRST EVER Hope’s Haven Awareness Night in York County, Pennsylvania!
We encourage you to come hear about this ministry, founded in 2008, and how we aim to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with children who are, or have been, in the foster care system through a free, overnight, summer camp program.
Since 2008, Hope’s Haven has accepted over 450 campers; sharing the love of Christ with them, and forming a relationship with many of the children who come to camp. We are excited to share that we have a high retention rate with our campers, with 60% of the 2024 campers having attended at least one previous Hope’s Haven Summer Camp program!
Recent campers are quoted as saying this about camp, both what they enjoyed and learned:
“It’s important to love others as yourself.” – 14 year old, new camper
“God can help me by letting me know He is with me.” – 16 year old , return camper
“I love the games, amazing food, and friends.” – 15 year old, return camper
“I love seeing people I haven’t seen in a while.” – 15 year old, return camper
“I love making new friends.” – 13 year old, return camper
“I loved the morning lessons” – 9 year old, new camper
Hope’s Haven would love for you to become a part of this story and invites you to come learn more at our Camp Awareness Event on November 15th, 2024 at ValleyView Alliance Church in Hallam, PA from 6pm to 8pm.
